What to Know Before the Ride
To help the day run smoothly and ensure everyone has a great time, here are a few helpful details for participants.
All Vehicles Welcome
Motorcycles, cars, trucks, side-by-sides, and other street-legal vehicles are welcome to participate in the Poker Run.
Passengers Welcome
Additional riders and passengers are encouraged to join. All participants are required to register for event.
Extra Poker Hands Available
Participants may purchase additional poker hands during registration to increase their chances of winning and/or to further support the VFW.
Ride at Your Own Pace
This event is about community and fun. It is not a race. Enjoy the route, take in the scenery, and make the most of each stop.
Follow All Traffic Laws
Participants are responsible for operating their vehicles safely and obeying all local traffic laws throughout the ride.
Rain or Shine
The Poker Run will take place regardless of weather conditions. Please plan accordingly.

Registration and Check-In
Please arrive early to allow time for registration, payment, and receiving your scorecard before the ride begins.
Winner Announcement
The winning poker hand will be announced during the Silent Auction following the ride and before dinner.
Dinner
Dinner will be available for purchase from a local food truck at the finish location.
Stay After the Ride
The Poker Run is just the beginning of the day. Participants and guests are encouraged to stay after the ride for an afternoon of community, food, and fundraising.
Silent Auction & Raffle
Browse and bid on a variety of donated items from local businesses and community members. All proceeds support the mission and programs of VFW Popo Agie Post 954.
Poker Run Awards
Prizes will be awarded for the Best Hand and Worst Hand of the day.
Food Truck Dinner
A local food truck will be serving dinner at the finish location. Grab a meal, relax, and enjoy time with fellow participants after the ride.
Photo Opportunities
Capture the day with photos along the route or at the finish location and share them with friends and family. Be sure to post your photos and tag the VFW Popo Agie, Post 954!
Support the Community
This event is more than just a ride. It is a way for our community to come together in support of the veterans who have served our country.
Proceeds from the Poker Run, silent auction, and raffle will benefit VFW Popo Agie Post 954 and local veterans programs.
You Don’t Have to Ride to Join the Fun
Friends, family, and community members are welcome to attend the finish celebration, silent auction, and dinner, even if they are not participating in the Poker Run.
Come enjoy great food, connect with neighbors, and help support our local veterans. Be sure to register prior to the ride and pick up your meal ticket at the registration table.
