Participant Waiver Requirement

For the safety of all riders and to comply with insurance and legal requirements, every participant in the VFW Community Poker Run must complete and sign a Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement prior to the start of the ride.

Vehicle events inherently involve certain risks, and this waiver ensures that each rider acknowledges those risks and accepts personal responsibility for their participation. It also protects the VFW, event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and host locations so that we can continue offering community events like this in the future.

A signed waiver must be on file with the VFW before a participant will be issued a scorecard. At check-in, an event representative will verify receipt of your completed waiver. Once confirmation is made, your scorecard will be distributed prior to the official ride start time.

To help ensure a smooth check-in process, we encourage participants to review and complete the waiver in advance if possible (print, review, sign and bring to registration).
